the federal government cannot set up a national church.
schools can neither promote or discriminate against religious groups.
citizens cannot be punished for not attending church or belonging to an organized religion.
a state can financially aid a private religious school, while the federal government cannot, because education is a state power.
religious organizations must pay property taxes, just like any other property owner.
