Amplitudes of Sinusoidal Oscillation as a Function of Time


A particle is moving up and down in a sinusoidal oscillation of frequency $f$. The maximum positive value of the oscillation is $1\,m$ and the minimum value is $-1\,m$. The period of the oscillation is $10\,sec$.

If the particle starts at $y=0\,m$ at time $t=0\,sec$, at what time does it first pass through the value of $1/2 \,m$?
