Magnetic Field within a Solenoid


Figure 1 depicts a solenoid, which consists of a series of loops of current carrying wire.

The solenoid is $L = 28.0 \text{ cm}$ long and contains $N = 120 \text{ turns}$. The coils carry a current of $I = 5.84 \text{ A}$.
