# Determining the Order of Mutants in a Synthesis Pathway

You are examining seven mutant yeast labeled​ 1 through 7. Each mutant has a mutation in a different gene in the synthesis pathway. When plated on minimal media none of the mutants are able to grow. To further examine the mutants you plate them on media containing 7 different intermediates in the pathway. The following table shows the patterns of growth for each mutant on each type of media. A "+" means growth and a "-" means no growth.
