Northwest High School
At Northwest High School, all teachers participate in some way in a spring project for students. Some teachers will lead
their own project, while others will join someone else as an assistant. Teachers join someone else for various reasons.

Candice was a returning teacher at Northwest High in the school year in question. Her students arrived on August 21st.
Project proposals were due on October 10th. The committee met on October 15th and teachers were notified individually
whether or not their projects were approved within three days of the meeting. Catalogue descriptions were due on
November 23rd, and kids signed up for projects for two weeks after that. By Christmas break, all the kids had selected a
project and Candice had joined someone else.
