Why is it ironic that Pisistratus asks Mentor to say a prayer to Neptune?
He knows that it is Minerva, a god herself.
He knows that Neptune is an enemy of Ulysses.
He does not know that he is actually asking Minerva.
He knows he should ask the son of Ulysses first.
Neptune, being a cruel god, is not swayed by prayers.
