What is the MOST logical explanation for the oscillation (rise and fall) in the expression of the unique cyclins at designated points in the cycle?


These proteins are made as a result of time spent in the particular phase and perform a function related to the phase.


The availability of the specific cyclin is how the timing of each step of the cell cycle is regulated.
