A block is attached to an ideal spring as shown in the figure above. The block is initially at rest and is then is pulled $20\ cm$ to the right. After being released, the block slides back and forth in simple harmonic motion across the frictionless floor. The maximum speed the block reaches is $5\ m/s$.
