Carl Jung was a psychologist who is considered a Neo-Freudian. Jung agreed with Freud regarding the unconscious mind. He disagreed that each person only has an unconscious mind that is uniquely theirs. He believed that each person also has a collective unconscious that they share with all humans. Jung called the shared memories and ideas archetypes.

Which of the following would match a Jungian archetype?

Sadie, who works to be the best student possible.

Henry, who is motivated to achieve by the power he may gain.

Lexi, who cannot help but root for the underdog to win.

Nick, who hears his parents' voices when he thinks about doing something bad.
