Consider the pipe shown below. Water ($\rho = 1000\:kg/m^3$) enters the pipe at the left with a speed of $v = 2\:m/s$. At position B the diameter of the pipe is half of that of position A, though the diameters of the pipe at positions A, C and D are all equal. At position D the pipe is $h = 2\:m$ higher than at the other three positions.
