What is the significance of Brutus saying to the Plebeians:

Those that will hear me speak, let them stay here;
Those that will follow Cassius, go with him;
And public options shall be rendered
Of Caesar's death (3.2.5-8)



Brutus is encouraging the crowd to split so that half follow Cassius to another part of the area and the other half stay with him.


Brutus wants the crowd to see that Cassius and he are aligned in their reasons for killing Caesar.


Brutus wants less people to be around to hear Antony speak.
