This efficacy study examines AP® exam performance for students who independently purchased Albert’s retail AP® Question Banks, comparing their results to national College Board outcomes. Across the 2024 and 2025 exam cycles, students who used Albert earned substantially higher scores than the average AP® test taker, including markedly higher rates of 4s and 5s.
Students included in the study engaged in sustained, high-volume practice, completing at least 200 attempts in an AP® subject. On average, students completed 983 practice attempts while preparing for their exam. Together, these results suggest that consistent practice with Albert’s educator-written, standards-aligned content is associated with stronger AP® exam performance.
Across both years studied, Albert users outperformed national averages at every AP® score threshold:
2024 AP® Results (35 students) - Students using Albert in 2024 significantly outperformed national averages:
2025 AP® Results (42 students) - Strong outcomes continued in 2025:
Across both years, Albert students were more than twice as likely to earn a 4 or higher than the average AP® test taker.

Students in this study showed sustained engagement with Albert’s AP® Question Banks. All students completed at least 200 practice attempts, with an average of 983 attempts per subject.
This pattern reinforces a consistent finding across Albert research: students who engage in more targeted, standards-aligned practice are more likely to earn higher AP® scores.
AP® Biology had a large enough sample in 2025 to support a subject-level analysis. Albert users again outperformed national averages:
Across two consecutive exam years, students who used Albert’s retail AP® Question Banks earned AP® scores well above national averages, with especially strong gains at the 4 and 5 levels. The findings provide clear evidence that practice-driven preparation with Albert supports AP® success, even for students preparing independently.
Albert’s AP® Question Banks combine educator-written questions, standards alignment, and detailed explanations to help students turn sustained effort into measurable results.
