This Tier III ESSA-aligned efficacy study investigated the impact of Albert's English practice platform on End-of-Course (EOC) performance at three U.S. high schools during the 2024–2025 academic year. The study employed a matched comparison design to evaluate performance gains in classrooms using Albert versus those without Albert.
Students who used Albert showed more than twice the improvement on their English End-of-Course exams compared to their peers who didn't use the platform.
With an increase of nearly 12 points, this is a clear sign that Albert helps students make meaningful progress in English.
Albert meaningfully improved English EOC outcomes, especially when implemented consistently across a semester. The study found statistically significant score gains even after controlling for demographics and prior achievement. Albert is a scalable, standards-aligned instructional tool with strong evidence to support its use in high school ELA classrooms.
