Choose a set of review questions in Albert that reflect the most important or complex skills from your unit. Have students complete them independently.
We recommend showing answers and explanations after assignment completion or after the due date has passed.
For every incorrect answer, students complete a short written reflection.
In their response, they should explain what their mistake was and why they made it, describe the correct answer and why it’s accurate, and finally, share what they’ve learned from the experience.
Allow students to earn back points for their corrections and reflections. This can be on the assignment itself or towards a future assignment.
Emphasize growth and improvement, not just getting the correct answer the second time. Use their reflections in conjunction with Albert Reports to guide class discussions, reteaching, or small-group follow-up.
