Our Content team has developed deep expertise in Indiana's academic standards, graduation requirements, and assessments. We've summarized the considerations that guided our product development below.
Indiana uses the Indiana Academic Standards (IAS) for all core subjects. IAS are state-developed standards that align with college- and career-readiness expectations across ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Indiana assesses students through ILEARN in Grades 3-8 and ILEARN high school end-of-course assessments. The SAT® is required and state-funded for all 11th graders, providing a key college-readiness benchmark.
ELA & Math: Grades 3-8 (ILEARN)
Science: Grades 4 & 6 (ILEARN Science)
Social Studies: Grade 5 (ILEARN Social Studies)
SAT®: Required for all 11th graders (state-funded)
ILEARN Biology: Grade 10 biology end-of-course
AP® & PSAT®: Widely used

Indiana requires 40 credits for the Core 40 diploma, including 8 ELA, 6-8 Math, 6 Science, 6 Social Studies, 2 World Languages, 2 Fine Arts, 1 PE, and elective credits. Students may also pursue the Academic Honors Diploma or Technical Honors Diploma for more rigorous pathways.

Rigorous practice across grades and subjects, fewer students fall behind.

As a new APUSH teacher I was unsure about my ability to prepare my students for the specifics of the AP® exam. I found Albert and decided to pilot the program at my school. My students answered over 51,000 questions in preparation for the exam. My pass rate went from 44.7% to 64.2% and I had 12 students earn 5s.
I love using Albert.io to prepare my AP® Spanish Language and AP® Spanish Literature students for their respective exams. It has been a huge time saver, allowing me to spend more time preparing my lessons rather than creating assessments.
Albert is being used in my math classroom as a tool to reinforce what we're learning through practice and review. The data view for teachers makes it easy for me to see how students are performing on specific topics.
From 9th grade Honors ELA students to 12th grade AP® Lit students, I have found something relevant and rigorous for all of my students. The question banks are extensive and the explanations provided to students are top-notch.
Multiple-choice is difficult to write, especially on the breadth of topics found on the AP® exam. Albert.io helps make managing this a lot easier by giving me a deep question bank aligned to every topic — my students get exposure to the full range of question types.
I love how the answer choices are explained to students. It helps them understand not just the correct answer but why the other options don't work, which is exactly how AP® graders want them thinking.

Students who independently prepared with Albert’s AP® Question Banks consistently outperformed national AP® averages in 2024 and 2025, driven by sustained, high-volume practice.
