Select 3-5 Albert questions aligned to the review topic and assign to all students. Be sure to set the assignment settings to withhold the answer and explanation until after assignment completion.
Create groups of 3-4 students who will complete the reflection worksheet together. Groups can be created based on proficiency level, student choice, or another method. Distribute the student worksheet electronically.
They should collectively complete the Prior Knowledge section of the handout before beginning their Albert assignment, using any relevant notes.
Once they've activated their prior knowledge, transition students to the Albert assignment you created in step 1. Students should complete the assignment individually. If they finish early, they can begin to fill out page two of their handout, writing in their own words the explanations for any answers they got wrong.
Students should complete the post-work section of their handout to identify connections to other topics or concepts, questions they still have, and key concepts they must remember.
Encourage students to share their group reflection with the class. Students should continue adding key information to their handouts as groups mention information they have not yet written down.
